The Above + Beyond Resorts World Kijal

Following the success of the town hall Power Up sessions organized, the team is now going in depth in implementing training to instill the Above +Beyond culture amongst employees in rendering exemplary services to our customers and treating our employees colleagues with respect. For this, I choose to share on our property in the East Coast Region – Resorts World Kijal
Now, why RW Kijal is Above+ Beyond. Here’s how and I speak based on my 3 days 2 nights media excursion with 40 medias in relation to the promises dubbed in A+B

To take care of guests and colleagues- Welcome by GM Julia Ter and RWK Colleagues

Upon arrival, all of us were greeted with by a warm welcome by Madam Julia Puan Noor Aisah , RWK HODs and all smiley face friendly employees who takes pride in their appearance by dressing up themselves dressed in their best colourful traditional clothes portraying characters of the Hulubang and Dayang of the palace ( Istana) at the hotel lobby and fresh coconut water to quench our thrist on a sunny hot day while we enjoy the silat performance by the mighty employees of RWK.

To provide exceptional 5A Service – Swift & Hassle Free Check-in

After the great welcome from our hulubalang and dayang, we were ushered to collect our room keys from Front Office employees who were kind of made kelam kabut by us yet they remained their composure and smiling while sorting our rooms despite being busy。In nick of time they sorted our luggages and sent them to our rooms. Hooray!

Look at how friendly the FO staff ☺

To show attention to detail- Lemang & Baju Kurung & Baju Melayu set in room

Surprise after surprise from welcome now to the room. On this day the friends of media and crews were greeted with the Lemang Set and serunding in room – A famous local delicacy in Kijal and baju melayu and baju kurung kedah with kain batik for us to experience sleeping in it where the kampung people wears it but I wore it outdoor and paired it with Jeans like this ✌✌

To always find ways to Improve – From Open Herb Garden to Kemaman Hawker Stall

Ideas change the world and all you ever need is just a lil bit of creativity tweak the existing and constantly find ways to improve.

Due to time constraint, we were not able to make a trip to Kemaman. To avoid disappointment and always wanting the best for guests, Julia and team squeezed her creative juice and transformed the Open Herb Garden into the Kemaman Hawkers Stall where local Kemaman delicacies like Satar, Nasi Dagang, Durian Crepe, Durian, grilled seafood and so much more were served to guest. Like I said the area is an open space with grass how did the stalls came from what are they made of Golf Buggies 😀

Well, this buffet is not a private order for the media-s but also to open public chargeable at an affordable rate with Live Band Entertainment. Smart and good idea.

Apart from this, the beach with white sands wear also transformed into perfect romantic dinner spot

Live Turtles watching indeed depends on luck factor.

At Kijal, even if you have no luck in spotting turtles landing during the night, the RW Kijal team ensures that you get an up close and personal session with the little turtles via the turtle release program and eggs planting conversation program
